Waste Management Halifax

We know how difficult it can be to keep on top of waste management in Halifax; often, businesses can end up producing more waste than they know what to do with. Business Waste deals specifically with trade waste, and we can provide reliable professionals that can arrange collections of your waste as often as you need. As well as everyday waste, we can collect and dispose of all kinds of difficult substances, such as asbestos, soils and gypsum boards. We can also provide various equipment for local businesses that can help to make collection as easy as possible – including skips, wheelie bins, front end loader bins and roll-on, roll-off containers. Responsible waste disposal means recycling as many materials as possible, such as paper, textiles and plastic, which are regularly consumed by Halifax businesses. The town offers various collections for common plastics and papers; however, it doesn’t accept all forms of plastics that are commonly used for packaging. We can help you sort, remove and dispose of all types of materials to ensure that you can recycle as much of your waste as possible, helping to improve your green credentials.

Contour Clinical, an aesthetics business based in the heart of Halifax, were in need of a number of specialist waste collections.

Our team conducted a waste audit to determine waste types, frequency of collections, and other unique logistical challenges associated with Contour Clinical. Three services were provided to this client. We regularly dispose of their cytotoxic waste in the form of a 13 litre sharps bin, providing an Environment Agency (EA) consignment note to ensure full compliance and peace of mind. Offensive waste is also dealt with by our network of disposal experts, with a 60 litre non-hazardous swabs and dressings container on site.

The result is a waste management strategy that reflects the clean, compliant, and professional nature Contour Clinical’s offering.
