Waste Disposal
Peterborough

If paper and card tend to build up in your office, we can collect it and send it for recycling. The same goes with many forms of plastics, from polyurethane to polystyrene, and also glass. Using local recycling centres in Peterborough, we ensure that all waste is correctly sorted and sent for reuse – reducing your company’s carbon footprint in the process. Not only does recycling help you to do your bit for the environment, but it can ensure that you are not hit with fines for improper rubbish disposal, while keeping down the cost of waste management. You will find that our solutions save you 20%, on average!

Recycling
Peterborough

In 2014, Peterborough recycled 48% of its waste, bringing it close to the EU target of 50% recycled waste by 2020, but there is still much to do. Landfill tax can end up costing a small fortune, so it’s in the best interests of every business to reduce as much waste sent to landfill as possible. Additionally, reducing landfill waste will have untold benefits for the environment.

  • What is ISO certification and why is it important?

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an independent, non-governmental group that uses experts to set global standards for providing innovation and solutions to worldwide challenges. ISO certification confirms a management system, manufacturing process, service, or documentation procedure meets the requirements for standardisation and quality assurance.

ISO certification is provided by a third party – in our case Alcumus ISOQAR, which provides UKAS accredited ISO certification. The standards provide benchmarks for businesses to meet, ensuring achieving ISO certification demonstrates a well-run, stable business that’s ready to grow. There are more than 20,000 management standards, but the two we’ve achieved provide the following benefits:

    • ISO 9001: 2015 – helps put our customers first.
    • ISO 14001: 2015 – reduces our environmental impact.
