Ben Botterill is head of finance at Business Waste. He oversees the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams. This includes the team leaders that head up these departments and the many finance and accounts assistants working within them.

Back in the summer of 2017, Ben joined Business Waste as an accounting trainee and since then he’s progressed to become our head of finance. This involved working his way up through roles as a sales ledger team leader, sales ledger manager, and finance manager, before being promoted to head of finance.

As head of finance, his role involves managing everything to do with the money that keeps Business Waste running smoothly. This covers invoicing customers, keeping them informed of price changes, paying suppliers, and overseeing all the finances coming in and going out of the business on time and accurately.
