David Adams is the managing director and co-founded Business Waste with Mark Hall in 2015 with the aim of building a business that paired companies with the best waste services that meet their needs. They identified a gap in the waste management market for a waste management business with a good online presence and old fashioned customer care vaules to help all UK businesses.

Under his leadership the business grew significantly in its first ten years from an initial team of three in a tiny office to more than 100 employees working in a 15,000 square foot office in York with more than 36,000 customers. Business Waste’s revenue has also increased from a recorded revenue of £180,000 in 2015 to £23 million ten years later.

As managing director, David oversees all aspects of the business including the sales, logistics, customer service, and accounts departments. He works closely with the wider leadership team and heads of department to ensure everything runs smoothly on a daily basis.
