Waste Disposal
Hull

In an economic climate of expansion, businesses in Hull might struggle to keep up with their recycling duties. But this is where we can help with our regular and reliable waste collection service, which will enable you to concentrate on more important areas of the business. Our experienced and expert professionals can arrange to collect your waste as and when you require from areas including Bransholme, Stoneferry, Inglemire and Newland.

Recycling
Hull

Kingston upon Hull, usually abbreviated to Hull, was founded in the 12th century and has been a market town, military supply port, trading hub, fishing centre, and industrial metropolis. It was also an early theatre of battle in the English Civil Wars, while heavy damage in the Second World War caused a period of post-industrial decline.

However, in the early 21st century, Hull experienced a resurgence with large amounts of new retail, commercial, housing and public service construction spending. In 2013, it was announced that the city would be the 2017 UK City of Culture due to its arts and heritage, several museums of national importance, a theatrical tradition and a diverse range of architecture, statues and sculptures. Hull is a city passionate about sport too, with the KCOM Stadium housing Premier League football team Hull City and Super League rugby side Hull F.C.

The city’s economy continues to be supported by industry, as several well-known chemical companies have facilities here including BP, Smith & Nephew, Seven Seas and Reckitt Benckiser. Healthcare is also well represented, with research facilities provided by the University of Hull through the Institute of Woundcare and the Hull York Medical School partnership. In recent years, the retail sector, further education and tourism industries have played an increasingly prominent role in the areas regeneration as well.

Trust
Business Waste

But despite its success over the past few years, the city still faces a number of challenges, particularly with waste disposal and recycling. Even though a waste-to-energy centre capable of processing up to 200,000 tonnes of organic material per year is currently in construction, it won’t be fully operational until 2018. Therefore, businesses taking advantage of Hull’s economic upturn must address their waste management responsibilities sooner rather than later.
