Waste Collection
Ealing

When it comes to collecting general waste, our specialist team will visit your business to carry out an in-depth assessment and help you meet your obligations under the Environmental Protection Act. Once we have worked with you to set up a plan for waste disposal, we will carry out collections with the utmost care and efficiency. We can work around your schedule, ensuring we never get in the way of the day-to-day running of your business. Ealing’s excellent local transport links, such as its proximity to the North Circular Road, means we can travel to you with ease.

Every one of Business Waste’s customers receives a complimentary wheelie bin, delivered free of charge, and we can also kit out your business with other items like compactors, skips and roll-on/roll-off bins. The equipment we provide is always hygienic, and we provide customers with access to a personalised online tracking system which enables you to keep accurate records about your waste usage.

Waste Disposal
Ealing

We can provide regular collections, whether it’s a large mixed load which needs sifting through or simply a small wheelie bin’s worth of refuse. Either way, we can sort your trade waste into recyclable and non-recyclable amounts to save you time, costs and cash.

We can provide you with the kit you need to boost awareness among your staff and customers, such as bins for different refuse items. When your key stakeholders know they are playing a role in helping your business reduce its carbon footprint, it offers an instant reputation boost – and in the long run can increase your sales.

Recycling
Ealing

From the hustle and bustle of the Broadway to the delightful aromas of Southall Market, Ealing is one of West London’s most popular suburbs. It’s no surprise that the borough has over 300,000 residents: with much-loved, waste-free green spaces like Ealing Common on offer, the natural environment in this area makes it the perfect place for families to live and work.

We all have to play our part in keeping Ealing beautiful, and the borough is already leading the way. Last year, it was revealed that more than 50% of all the borough’s waste was recycled between June and August, and Business Waste is proud to help Ealing build on this record. With our expertise in streamlining waste management processes, we can dispose of your trade waste efficiently and in an environmentally friendly way.

Got a
Question?

  • Can I add an additional bin to my service?

Yes, of course. We can provide extra bins for new waste streams to encourage recycling. Or if you’re simply producing more waste of the same type, we can add an extra or larger bin to your delivery and collection services if you’re at capacity.

  • Do you supply a duty of care certificate?

Yes, we provide a duty of care certificate (also known as a waste transfer note (WTN)) free of charge as part of your service agreement. This is included for free every time we collect any type of waste from your premises. Duty of care certificates are a legal requirement and licensed waste carriers can complete them for free – so you should never be charged for one.

Find out more about them in our guide to waste transfer notes.

  • How often will my bin be emptied?

We offer our customers a choice of daily, weekly, or fortnightly collections – so your bins are emptied as often as you want. Our expert team can advise on the correct waste collection schedule based on the type and amount of waste you produce and your business needs – such as your bin storage space and location.

  • What time will my bin be collected?

Bin collection times vary depending on your location, waste type, number and size of bins, and other factors. We work with all our customers to ensure your waste is always collected on time when it’s suitable for you and the licensed waste carrier. We can work around access times to arrange collections at convenient times.

  • What type of wheelie bins are available?

A range of two and four-wheel bins are available to store all sorts of waste on your premises. Explore our bins to see all available bins and information about what types and amounts of waste they can hold.

For any questions and answers about wheelie bin weight limits, sizes, locks, and anything else – read our bin FAQ guide.

  • How can we reduce our waste?

There are many ways to reduce the amount of waste we produce as individuals and businesses. A waste audit can highlight where you’re producing lots of waste as a starting place to cut down. Simple steps to reduce waste include efficient purchasing, buying reusable products, and recycling as much as possible. For more tips, read our guide about how to reduce waste.

If you have specific questions about reducing a certain type of waste, find the relevant page in Your Waste.

  • Do you collect any type of waste?

Yes! We can collect a wide range of waste types in various amounts from all sorts of businesses. From general waste to popular glass, paper, and packaging recycling – as well as specialist waste streams such as clinical, hazardous, and pharmaceutical waste – we work with licensed waste carriers able to safely collect all such types.

  • Is Business Waste ISO certified?

Yes, Business Waste has received Alcumus ISOQAR certification for:

    • ISO 9001: 2015 – Quality management systems
    • ISO 14001: 2015 – Environmental management systems

These are both in the scope of registration for the provision of waste management brokerage.

  • What is ISO certification and why is it important?

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an independent, non-governmental group that uses experts to set global standards for providing innovation and solutions to worldwide challenges. ISO certification confirms a management system, manufacturing process, service, or documentation procedure meets the requirements for standardisation and quality assurance.

ISO certification is provided by a third party – in our case Alcumus ISOQAR, which provides UKAS accredited ISO certification. The standards provide benchmarks for businesses to meet, ensuring achieving ISO certification demonstrates a well-run, stable business that’s ready to grow. There are more than 20,000 management standards, but the two we’ve achieved provide the following benefits:

    • ISO 9001: 2015 – helps put our customers first.
    • ISO 14001: 2015 – reduces our environmental impact.
