Internal Sales Representative / Inbound Telesales

Reports To: Managing Director / Sales Manager

Main Purpose of the Job

The Internal Sales Person acts as the first point of contact with the customer, portraying professionalism and confidence that delivers the ultimate in customer experience; to build an active customer base. By applying sales skills the Internal Sales Person will capitalise on commercial opportunities through the negotiation of prices in order to achieve the sales targets / KPIs set by the Management Team.

Main Duties

-Once familiar with the services begin to be proactive in sales by implementing the agreed sales strategy.
-Apply various sales skills to capitalise on commercial opportunities through the negotiation of prices.
-Maintain an agreed level of pro-active telephone contact with prospective customers.
-Effectively deal with telephone inquiries requesting quotations for services; compiling information on the desired services including prices from external suppliers.
-Create quotations in response to tenders received.
-Proactively chase tenders
-Ensure all quotations are followed up when necessary.
-Achieve team and individual sales targets as set by the Management Team within the agreed time scale.
-Maximise sales by continually expanding orders and up-selling on all incoming and outgoing calls.
-Ensure all orders received are entered into the internal system accurately.
-Liaise on a daily basis with your colleagues and update them on any developments in your work, ensuring a high level of team relationships exist.
-Provide the Management with sales reports on a weekly/monthly basis
-Ensure that all customer complaints, issues, and queries reach a successful and appropriate conclusion. Where relevant, escalate matters to the Management Team
– To ensure that all personal sales KPIs are achieved

Education/Qualification
Maths & English – GCSE (or equivalent) grades A-C

Skills/Abilities
Computer skills
Excellent telephone manner Ability to work without close supervision
Ability to work closely to instructions
Numeracy skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail Proficient at Microsoft Office
Proficient use of Excel Demonstrates a good level of negotiation skills with internal and external customers Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal and influencing skills

Duties to include:
• Dealing with customers on the telephone
• Dealing with customer and supplier enquiries
• Order processing and data entry
• Responding to emails
• Interacting with the Directors
• Using MS Office applications
• Undertaking other clerical duties as appropriate to the role

Mon-Friday (variable Saturday morning) 8.30am – 5.30pm 37.5hrs weekly

Business Waste is a privately owned; ethical UK based waste management and recycling waste management broker. Providing a complete national service and handling all waste for any organisation above and beyond the reach of anyone else.

Job Title Accounts Administrator (Accounts Receivable)

Job Description

Main Responsibilities
Speak to customers and suppliers on the phone about outstanding invoices, rebates or invoices which are soon due, confirming payment dates with them.

Taking payments

Take card payment over the phone from customers when chasing debt, to bring their account back up to date.

Handling queries
Duties will to chase debt, clarifying invoice information.

Making customers aware they are on stop
Duties will be to speak to customers to make them aware that their account is on stop if they have not paid an invoice in time. Or if a customer’s direct debit has bounced, you will be tasked to have overdue customers to pay by another method of payment and keep their account up to date.

Minor Responsibilities Inputting invoices onto the system
Occasionally put invoices onto the system.

Confirming invoices have been received
Occasionally speak to customer’s accounts departments to confirm they have received their invoice and put it onto their system.
